We’ll look after your money, like we would our own

Hebden Consulting are an independent financial advisory firm with offices in Malaysia and London, but with roots in Hebden Bridge in the UK (hence our name). We specialise in working with international expats.

We’re not like the majority of banks and financial advisers in the area, who focus on selling products and who get paid through commission.

We have more in common with financial advisers in the UK. We don’t just look at you in terms of your wealth, we look at who you are as a person, what your plans are for the future and how you’d like to spend your retirement. Then we create a financial plan to help you get there.

Who we work with

We work with affluent professionals who are already living and working overseas.

Our clients are looking for trusted experts to advise them on how to manage their wealth across multiple countries tax efficiently, how to grow their investments, plan their retirement, or how to pass on accumulated wealth to their next generation.

The way in which we do business is as important as the business we do.

A fundamental concept investors need to understand is the wisdom of the crowd. Every day, millions of investors around the world place millions of trades, each time expressing an opinion as to how much a particular stock is worth. So the market is like a giant super-computer, and therefore very hard to beat.

There’s no getting round it: all investing involves risk, and equity investing in particular. But is investment risk really something to be frightened of?

Understanding your emotions when it comes to your investment is a vital element to financial success in the long term.
